GAA Skills in St Mary’s
Junior and Senior Infants have been enjoying learning football skills with Noah from Cobh GAA.

Camogie
Cobh GAA have been coaching camogie in St Mary's NS. Our pupils really benefit from this coaching as it helps their motor skills, team work skills and confidence to grow. Sport and wellbeing are very important to us in St Mary's.
Zumba

Community Centre Access
As St Mary's is located directly across from Great Island Community Centre, each year we block book access to their hall to enhance our PE lessons. Classes from first to sixth go to the Community Centre on a weekly basis for the month of March.
Swimming
In the second and third term each year, our third, fourth and fifth classes attend swimming lessons in Coral Leisure. Lessons take place during the school day, meaning that school pick-up and drop-off times are unaffected. Additionally, as we are located only 550...
