Charles Dicken’s classic tale ‘A Christmas Carol’ was given a St Mary’s twist as the girls took to the stage to entertain and delight audiences on the 10th and 11th December. Our director Ciara Twohig stewarded two casts through months of rehearsals and coaching. Every class in the school contributed to two wonderful nights of storytelling, singing, dancing and laughs. Our lead roles were expertly undertaken by our diligent 5th and 6th Class pupils who had many lines and even some solo songs to learn. Our backstage crew ensured everything ran smoothly and made costumes and props appear of thin air. Many thanks to the pupils and parents who assisted, we couldn’t have done it without your support! A huge thank you to our school community who came out in force and supported the shows on both nights and a special mention to our Parent’s Association for running the Christmas raffle also.
