This year the girls from Miss Quinlan’s 3rd Class took part in AgriAware’s Incredible Edibles Initiative.

For the groups amazing effort and for completing all five tasks to a high standard, the group received the GOLD award – the highest level of accreditation!

Incredible Edibles is a healthy eating project for primary schools. The aim of the project is to educate students about growing fruit and vegetables and to increase their knowledge of food origin and quality. It also highlights the important role that fresh produce plays in a healthy balanced diet and the importance of consuming at least five portions of fruit and vegetables every day.

This is St Mary’s second year running achieving Gold, proving once again, our commitment to healthy living and sustainability.
