Wellbeing Week

May 15, 2023

Wellbeing Week was celebrated from May 8th to 12th.  Below are just some of the activities that went on in St Mary’s!

We kicked off the week with the Student Wellbeing Committee visiting the classes with the Inspirational Quote of the Day.

The Merck Curiosity Labs gave 3rd and 4th class a workshop and provided an Ice-Cream Truck for all students AND teachers! 3rd and 4th are also went Swimming the same afternoon – what a busy day!

5th and 6th Class took part in Zumba and showed off their dance skills while keeping fit!

The whole school had a fun Disco on the Yard at Big Break on Thursday.

6th Class led a sing-song on Friday where all children were able to sing-a-long to some feel good songs.

Miss Kelleher taught Yoga in our beautiful school garden.

Our outdoor classroom and our picnic area in the school garden were also put to good use as many classes got out in the sunshine and partook in wellbeing activities in nature.

Random Acts of Kindness were aplenty between students in a variety of classrooms.

It really was a great week full of enjoyment!
