Bóthar Lenten Challenge: Our Lenten collection commenced on Wednesday, 6th March. For every 50c donated, pupils received a raffle ticket. At the end of lent a raffle for an Easter egg was held in each classroom. In addition to this, on the day of the Easter holidays, all raffle tickets purchased were gathered and one overall winner chosen. This pupil chosen received the reward of naming the Bóthar life-saving animal which we will be donating to a struggling family in the developing world. The name chosen for the goat this year was Isabella. thank you to Ms. McElhinney and the Student Council for organising our efforts here.
