Here in St Mary’s, we are updating our spellings programme and are embracing the latest proven methods for the teaching of spellings.  Many other progressive schools in Ireland are now also using this programme which is essentially an individualised approach to learning spellings.  Each child has a spelling list individual to them, empowering them to achieve and progress at a level suitable to them. No two children will have the same spellings, as no two children are the same.
